Implant treatment offers patients a predictable prosthetic reconstruction with a very high success rate. The challenge we often meet in insufficient bone volume and close proximity to critical structures like the sinus floor or mandibular canal, which often requires advanced surgical procedures like local bone argumentation to facilitate optimal implant positioning. For the individual patient, bone augmentation means additional surgical procedures, additional cost and treatment time and also additional post-operative risks and morbidity.
Today we have knowledge and digital technology that can help us place dental implants in a preplanned and accurate position with a predictable treatment outcome. By using guided surgery, we can in selected cases reduce the need for bone argumentation procedures such as a sinus lift and help us reduce the chairside time. We can take advantage of the 3D technology and by using Simplant or Azento, offer our patients precise and strategic treatment options.
During this webinar we will explore clinical cases where guided surgery can give us an important treatment advantage and attenuate the need for complex bone grafting, as well as demystify the digital workflow and dissect the different treatment options we can offer our patients with less trauma and less post-operative discomfort.
By maximizing the benefits of the well-known Astra Tech Implant System EV and the innovative 3D treatment options Azento and Simplant offers us today, we can have increased confidence in a straightforward, accurate, predictable and evidence-based implant treatment for our patients.
Learning objectives: The webinar will reveal how guided surgery and contributes to predictable and accurate implant surgery and offers a variety of implant treatment options which can complement and often eliminate advanced bone augmentation techniques. These factors improve the patient experience and allows the surgeon to operate with an increased level of confidence and less chairside time.
