EC1: Endodontic Diagnosis I

Course Description: Discriminating the etiology of oro-facial pain can be a significant challenge. This course will discuss how to use the medical and dental history and the patient's self-reported symptoms as well as a systematic clinical exam to build a solid foundation for an accurate diagnosis and etiology of oral pain.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, learners should be able to:

• Summarize the importance of the clinical exam as it relates to endodontic treatment.  

• Select and apply relevant tests to develop and confirm an endodontic diagnosis.
