Before studying dentistry, I worked as a specialized nurse in the field of anesthesia and intensive care in Berlin, Germany. In 1993, I started to study dentistry at the Ruprecht-Karls-University and graduated in 1999. In the following years, I worked on my doctorate in oral and maxillofacial surgery and successfully completed it in 2001.

In the period from 1999 to 2001, I worked in different dental practices to gain experience for my later professional life. During this time, I began to further my qualifications and attended various renowned training institutions and academies. I specialized in the fields of implantology, periodontology, endodontics, Orthodontics, and the treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders.

In 2004, I founded my current dental practice with my own dental laboratory. In the same year, I started CEREC restorations in my practice. Since that time, I have been the author of various national and international articles on the subject of digital dentistry.

In my first years with CEREC I also started to qualify in this field and became a CEREC Trainer for courses and lectures, national and international. In 2014 I became a CEREC Mentor and one year later a certified CEREC Ortho Trainer and became a Dentsply Sirona national and international speaker.

For many years I have been a CEREC software tester, CEREC hardware tester, SIDEXIS software and Orthophos/Axeos hardware tester and CEREC material tester for Dentsply Sirona and VITA Zahnfabrik. In 2019, I won the international Smart Integration Award, Dentsply Sirona.

I like art of painters from the last century, as well as digital photography. Besides that, I like to run a lot and spend time with my family.
