Shorter file sequence than ProTaper Universal
The product range of ProTaper Universal includes two shaping and five finishing files while ProTaper Next counts only five rotary shaping files in total. But using ProTaper Next, only two files (X1 and X2) instead of the four ProTaper Universal files (S1, S2, F1 and F2) are needed for the shaping of the majority of root canals.
