In this lecture, we will examine the most common surgical and prosthetic complications with implant therapy, the data behind their occurrence’s and prognosis, and examine the various ways to treat these adverse outcomes.

Dental implants are a known and predictable treatment option for missing teeth, where most patients today desire this type of therapy. Although implant survival is extremely high, complications can and do arise in these patients during the placement, healing, prosthetic, or recall phases of treatment. The reasons why these adverse outcomes can occur are many and varied and in this lecture, we will examine what are the most common surgical and prosthetic complications, the data behind their occurrence’s and prognosis, and examine the various ways to treat these adverse outcomes.

Cancellation Policy: We recommend course registration is completed at least 1 month in advance. Standard Refund/Cancellation Policy: Cancellations more than 4 weeks in advance of the course start date will be reimbursed the full tuition cost of the course. For cancellations 2-4 weeks prior, 50% of the tuition cost will be charged, whilst cancellations within 14 days of the course start date will result in the full tuition cost being charged. Non attendees will be charged the full tuition price. If Dentsply Sirona cancels the program, the participant will be reimbursed the full tuition amount. Please note, no Cancellation Policy applies for free or non-chargeable courses and programs.
