Out of Scope

Dentsply Sirona will not make charitable donations, sponsorships, grants, or gifts to:

  • Individuals.
  • Endowment funds and capital campaigns that would fund solely “brick and mortar” construction projects. Donations to fund clinical examination and treatment rooms or other clinical outfitting for an otherwise qualified charitable or not-for-profit organisation or institution may be appropriate if in compliance with the balance of this policy.
  • Organisations that discriminate based on race, colour, ethnicity, creed, religion, gender, gender identity and expression, national origin, sexual orientation, age, pregnancy, disability, veteran status, protected genetic information, political affiliation, or other legally protected status.
  • Organisations, including lobbyists, whose primary purpose is to promote political views, influence legislation, or support candidates for political office.
  • Religious organisations, including churches, houses of worship, religious or sectarian programmes for religious purposes, or religious training programmes.
  • Organisations that currently have a trade embargo or are on a restricted parties list.

Dentsply Sirona will not undertake any form of giving (grant, donation, sponsorship, or gift) that would constitute (or create the appearance of) a bribe, kick-back, or other corrupt practice. In addition, Dentsply Sirona’s charitable donations, grants, or gifts should never be used with the intent of obtaining (or retaining) future business for the Company, securing an improper business advantage, or inducing anyone to act improperly.
