The natural overall impression is created, among other things, by the pyramid layering of three differently coloured materials. The tooth neck is darkly demarcated from the crown and, together with the interdental shading, supports the extraordinary liveliness of the posterior tooth.
The guide surfaces of the kaurel relief lead safely into the central occlusion. The grooved basal surface creates an additional mechanical hold for an optimal bond with the denture acrylic. Clearly outlined areas guide the chewing movement in the range of the recognised mean values (cusp inclination 25 - 28 °).
Support and balance through surfaces and cusps, together with multi-point contact, reduce lateral thrust.
The six Artiplus posterior tooth shapes are available in 16 V-shades (A1 – D4).
