Fourteen Dental Labs from around the United States joined the Dentsply Sirona team for the Primelab^™ Symposium at the Charlotte Academy on Oct 9 - 10th, 2023. Digital Denture Workflow

Increase your labs capacity, throughput, and simplicity with the Lucitone Digital Print Denture™ System. Learn how to successfully follow the entire process from design to finish of a 3D printed digital denture and obtain your certification.

PROGRAMME AT A GLANCE

This 2 day course^* will go through the complete Lucitone Digital print denture process and materials, including hands-on instruction for the designing (3 Shape), printing, assembling, curing, and finishing of the Lucitone Digital Printed dentures.

Day 1: Designing in 3Shape from model scans or digital impressions, including reference, copy, and immediate dentures (Limited number of design stations, bring your 3Shape laptop and dongle if possible)

Day 2: Lucitone Digital Print materials, printing, and hands-on assembly workflows.

Learning Objectives:

At the completion of this programme, participants will understand:

Complete step-by-step procedures for the LDP system, including design, printer tips, and post-processing workflow.
An understanding of all LDP materials and equipment used in the processes.

Crowns & Bridges in the Digital Workflow

Crowns and Bridges are the most frequent restoration types within the fixed prosthetic segment. They can be made of various materials, e.g. dental alloys and all-ceramic materials.

In the field of all-ceramics, zirconium oxide is a leading material. It is an all ceramic (metal free) material and offers excellent properties for dental use: Superior toughness, strength, and fatigue resistance, in addition to wear properties and biocompatibility. Dentsply Sirona was a pioneer in this field with over 20 years experience. Zirconia became popular with introduction as pre-sintered material (Cercon) for efficient and economic production in CAD/ CAM processes. It covers a wide range of indications from single crowns up to 14-unit bridges.
