This course will provide attendees a basic review of current pulp therapy techniques for both primary and immature permanent teeth. The topics discussed in this course include vital pulp therapy, pulpotomy, regenerative therapy, trauma, vital pulp therapy materials and behavior management of the paediatric endodontic patient. This course is a basic introduction for common issues observed in the paediatric patients of both family practice and paediatric practices.

Learning Objectives:

Diagnose pulpal health in primary and immature permanent teeth
Discuss treatment options for compromised pulp tissue in primary and immature permanent teeth
Understand the advantages of a cross-linked gutta-percha technique in filling the complex anatomy of the root canal system.
Discuss treatment techniques for behavior management of a paediatric endodontic appointment.
