Surgical and/or prosthetic complications in implant therapy are part of our new reality as clinicians. There are many! Our goal is to control the quality of the end result and avoid problems in the future. Our knowledge about implant dentistry and proper planning and execution will allow us to achieve this goal. This presentation will guide you from the implant selection to the type of restoration that you should use. The aim of this presentation is to help clinicians placing implants prevent complications before they happen and if they occur, to facilitate their treatment and find easy solutions.

Recognize how implant system features can help reduce the risk of complications
Understand the importance of creating an ideal emergence profile
Recognize the key restorative considerations for reducing the risk of complications
