Digital dentures developed relatively quickly, and the rapid evolution can make it challenging to keep up. This course is a 101 - intended to address all the basic questions clinicians may have about digital dentures. Utilizing up-to-date literature, research, and clinical experience, it aims to provide an overview of all aspects of digital dentures, including indications, materials, workflows, and fabrication. Clinicians will leave with the resources needed to start their digital denture journey.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, learners should be able to:

  • Understand the benefits of digital dentures.
  • Learn the difference between digital manufacturing techniques.
  • Know the indications for digitally fabricated complete dentures.
  • Describe the current landscape of CAD/CAM and how it relates to complete dentures.
