Oraqix (lidocaine and prilocaine periodontal gel) 2.5%/2.5%
Topical Anesthesia
Oraqix is an acceptable choice for adult patients who require localized anesthesia for periodontal treatment.
- Can be reapplied, as needed, with up to five cartridges per appointment
- Onset occurs within 30 seconds and has a duration of approximately 20 minutes
- Applied directly in the sulcus, the unique, patented, thermosetting system changes from liquid to gel and delivers pain relief where it’s needed
Oraqix is not for injection. Oraqix should not be used in patients with congenital or idiopathic methemoglobinemia.
Each patient should be evaluated before choosing the appropriate anaesthetic. Contraindications must always be considered, such as pregnancy and lactation, pediatric and elderly population, allergies, prior health risks and needs for special care.
