ProTaper Next is the next evolution of ProTaper, the world’s leading file system. It delivers the same efficiency and variable taper performance clinicians can continue to count on with ProTaper Universal, but with added refinements to improve performance.
ProTaper Next’s M-Wire NiTi alloy design features an off-centred, rectangular cross-section for increased file strength, flexibility, and resistance to cyclic fatigue. The patented design’s axis of rotation differs from the centre of mass. As a result, only two points of the rectangular cross-section touch the canal wall at a time. The matching obturators, gutta-percha points, and absorbent paper points were specifically designed for those clinicians who utilise the ProTaper Next shaping method.
