Course Description:
In this second lecture of a three-part series on developing your skills with clear aligners, we will delve deeper into the art of interproximal reduction (IPR) This session will cover the evidence base, clinical strategies, and efficient techniques for performing accurate and controlled anatomical IPR during aligner therapy. Join us for the next and final part of this series, where we will explore the role of attachments in effective clear aligner therapy.
Learning Objectives:
Identify when IPR is necessary and beneficial in aligner therapy.
Assess various factors to consider when performing IPR to ensure optimal outcomes.
Implement evidence-based strategies to enhance the effectiveness and safety of IPR.
Execute precise IPR techniques and follow established protocols for successful treatment.
Determine the appropriate timing and prescription of IPR during different stages of aligner therapy.
Understand the impact of IPR on stability and retention, and manage cases with and without IPR effectively.
This course is intended for dental professionals or students with a basic understanding of dental terminology, practice, and proficiency.
