The latest innovations

• DS Core: Among many cutting-edge solutions, Dentsply Sirona will feature the latest updates to DS Core including an enhanced Communication Canvas that makes patient communication more illustrative and user-friendly. Patient images such as X-ray images, photos, or intraoral scans can be arranged and displayed side-by-side on a digital canvas in 2D and 3D. Annotations in the form of text or freehand drawings can now also be inserted into the canvas for 2D imagery enabling them to make informed decisions about their proposed treatment plan. In addition, dentists can share these images with patients, making it easy to communicate while adhering to data protection regulations for data sharing.
  The viewer function in DS Core now supports additional data formats such as STL and PLY, making the cloud platform a powerful tool for communication and collaboration also for users employing third-party intraoral scanners.
• SureSmile™ Simulator[1]: Powered by DS Core, SureSmile™ Simulator gives dental professionals the ability to transform treatment conversations by showing patients the potential esthetic benefits to help them make informed and timely decisions. Prior to treatment planning, the SureSmile™ Simulator assists dental professionals in evaluating each case. By measuring initial models and generating estimated treatment duration and complexity from the post-simulation results, clinicians can enter the planning phase with greater insight.
• Lucitone Digital Print Denture™ System: Consisting of Lucitone Digital Print™ 3D Denture Base, Lucitone Digital IPN™ 3D Premium Tooth and Lucitone Digital Value™ Trial Placement, this excellent combination of industry-leading materials for manufacturing of try-ins gives users the combination of high impact denture resin and highly esthetic, durable tooth resin. Together with Dentsply Sirona’s Primeprint™ Solution, users get a highly automated and fully validated 3D printing and finishing workflow for in-house denture manufacturing.
• Midwest® Energo™: The new Midwest Energo portfolio of electric handpieces offers a range of benefits for modern dental professionals, with small head dimensions, great durability, and high level of safety[2]. The new handpieces will be available in North America from end of February 2024.
• OSSIX Agile™: The innovative pericardium-based membrane is powered by GLYMATRIX^® technology and scientifically proven to assure a long-lasting barrier effect and predictable results.

Dentsply Sirona and 3Shape expanded workflow integration update

In September 2023, Dentsply Sirona and 3Shape announced an expanded workflow integration to enable dental professionals to design and manufacture directly in the practice. This workflow is available now[3] and visitors to the Dentsply Sirona booth can learn about the integration between DS Core, Primemill and Primeprint, with the 3Shape TRIOS intraoral scanner powered by 3Shape Unite. Dentists and dental technicians can discover the benefits of simple, high quality, and connected technology solutions for effective collaboration enabled by digital dentistry. 

Women in Dentistry Breakfast
