In this course we focus on the nuances and details necessary to successfully plan and treat full-arch fixed (all-on-x) cases. The course highlights treatment planning principles and current technologies that assist the clinician in achieving success with patients missing their mandibular or maxillary teeth.

Learning Objectives

  • Recognize space-related constraints and considerations for different types of full-arch prostheses
  • Understand principles of density, dimension, distribution, and display to organize implant placement, number, and location
  • Identify proper loading protocols for the full-arch based on initial primary stability

Following completion of this course, participants are encouraged to complete Part 2 of the Level 6 curriculum focused on the full-arch fixed prosthesis.
