Dentsply Sirona celebrates partnership with top suppliers at its first annual Exceptional Supplier Partner Awards

Sustainability, performance, innovation and value were among the awards criteria at the Dentsply Sirona Global Supplier Forum 2022.
Charlotte, May 24, 2022. Dentsply Sirona has announced the nine winners of its first annual Exceptional Supplier Partner Awards. The companies received recognition for their outstanding work during the closing session of Dentsply Sirona’s two day Global Supplier Forum 2022. The exciting event was held in mid May as a hybrid event with some attendees and speakers present on site at Dentsply Sirona’s headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
The winners had to meet six key criteria - Sustainability, Quality, Delivery, Innovation, Value, Diversity - and worked with their respective Global Category Manager.
They were chosen from the more than 500 suppliers that had been invited to the forum, which was designed to build powerful partnerships for healthy smiles. Willem Appelo, Dentsply Sirona’s Chief Supply Chain Officer, and Joanne Couture, Vice President of Procurement, opened the event to give participants deep insights into the company’s procurement processes and how suppliers can become crucial partners in the Beyond Sustainability program. Chief Marketing Officer Erania Brackett explained Dentsply Sirona’s vision and how suppliers are helping to shape the future of digital dentistry.
The awards, which were first announced at last year’s Global Supplier Forum, are an annual celebration of vendors that have gone above and beyond in being outstanding partners based on all of the award criteria.

The Dentsply Sirona Global Supplier Forum is an annual event, offering an immersive experience designed to build a long term partnership rooted in values and innovation. With more than 500 Dentsply Sirona suppliers tuned in online and present onsite, the forum offered deep insights into the company’s vision, strategy, and its procurement process. During breakout sessions, the participants also shared their experiences, knowledge and best practice.
