Dentsply Sirona offers permanent root canal sealers based on epoxy-amine resin that delivers self-adhesive properties with dimensional stability and high radiopacity. An endodontic permanent sealer based on epoxy chemistry offers excellent biocompatibility. Its minimal shrinkage upon setting and low solubility provides an excellent seal.
Ribbon is compatible with warm and cold techniques. Why is this important? The effect of temperature can negatively impact a sealer’s viscosity, ultimately impacting the ability to seal and potentially creating gaps between the sealer and dentine.
Benefits
Low shrinkage, low leakage and an extraordinarily high adhesion to dentin in root canals
Superior Radiopacity to other sealers
Biologically inert, antimicrobial and antibacterial activity of fresh sealer
Most important requirements of an endodontic sealer: Proof that Ribbon provides a superior seal.
