TruShape 3D Conforming Files are the next evolution in cleaning and shaping the complex canal anatomy. They allow you to preserve more dentinal structure while removing pulp and debris along the entire root canal. And they provide advantages to cleaning a root canal system compared to conventional instrumentation techniques with ISO rotary files.

TruShape Orifice Modifier
The TruShape Orifice Modifier is designed to modify the orifice and create an ideal receptacle for the introduction of TruShape 3D Conforming Files. It features:
- An active cutting cross-section
- Fluted length of about 7 mm
- A maximum fluted diameter (MFD) of .75mm to facilitate conservative radicular access
- Blue wire NiTi for strength and flexibility

The key to the TruShape difference lies in the file’s unique S-shape design, allowing it to conform to areas of the canal larger than the nominal file size. This creates an envelope of motion that better disrupts biofilms for improved bacterial reduction. As a result, TruShape 3D Conforming Files allow you to preserve more dentinal structure while removing pulp and debris along the entire root canal.

The TruShape Conform-Fit gutta-percha master cones combine a "Tru" apical shape with a parallel mid root and coronal design. This provides the clinician a master cone adaptable to irregular geometries for a variety of clinical situations.

Conclusion: TruShape was superior to ProFile and Vortex Blue in terms of fatigue resistance in double curvature canals.

Conclusion: The limited (up to 0.7 %) retained radicular dentin in the TruShape versus the Vortex cavity proved effective in reducing masticatory stresses.

Conclusion: TruShape provided conservation of dentin by limiting dentin removal and in the absence of substantial canal transportation. In the present study, the use of TruShape in the mesial canals of mandibular molars did not result in decreased amounts of unprepared canal surface.

Conclusion: TruShape files removed significantly more canal wall bacteria than Twisted Files when used without an antibacterial irrigant; the latter is required to decontaminate dentinal tubules.
