  • Discuss what helped me make the leap of faith to get into CEREC in the first place.
  • Illustrate some key steps to “flatten the learning curve” and engaging our patients.
  • Explain some tips and techniques to unleash the power of CEREC software and hardware.
  • Demonstrate the synergy of marrying old school concepts with cutting edge technology.
  • Discuss material selection, prep design, and execution of more complex cases, even if you are “new to the game”.
  • Discuss what, when and why of cementation.

Oral Cancer Screening: “It’s More Than Grasping the Tongue”

Dental professionals have long, busy days of serving patients and want to end their days knowing they provided optimal care for each patient -- and that includes the early detection of oral and oropharyngeal cancer. The consequences of an incomplete visual and tactile, extraoral, and intraoral evaluation, along with delayed referrals, can result in an increased risk of liability, delayed diagnosis and treatment, and, in the worst-case scenario, death. Learn how to spot the signs and symptoms early in this course.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • List the areas of liability risk.
  • Recognize signs and symptoms associated with oral and oropharyngeal cancer.
