What is the next generation of digital transformation envisioned by Dentsply Sirona and Prime Taper?​

昨今の補綴治療は、デジタル技術の普及により革命的な進化を遂げています。新たに臨床応用が始まったプライムテーパー®インプラントは、デンツプライシロナのデジタルワークフローとの連携によって飛躍的な進化を遂げました。この連携により、高難度な咬合再構成においても、機能性と審美性を両立させ、予知性の高い治療法が実現可能となりました。また、CT、CAD/CAM、IOS、3Dプリンターとのオールインワンコンセプトにより、これらの高いクオリティーを先生方のオフィスレベルでも実現できるようになりました。​

本セッションでは、デンツプライシロナとプライムテーパーが描く次世代のデジタルトランスフォーメーションを、先生方と共に供覧したいと思います。​

Recent prosthodontic treatments have undergone revolutionary advancements due to the widespread adoption of digital technology. The newly introduced PrimeTaper implant, in partnership with Dentsply Sirona's digital workflow, has made significant progress. This collaboration enables the successful combination of functionality and aesthetics, even in challenging occlusal reconstructions, making highly predictable treatments possible. Additionally, the all-in-one concept integrating CT, CAD/CAM, IOS, and 3D printing allows these high standards to be realized at the office level.​

In this session, we would like to share with you the next generation of digital transformation envisioned by Dentsply Sirona and PrimeTaper.​

 Dr. Teppei Tsukiyama 築山　鉄平　先生

築山鉄平先生は2001年に九州大学歯学部を卒業後、2006年からタフツ大学歯学部歯周病インプラント科で勤務、2009年には米国歯周病学会歯周病認定医取得、2010年には米国歯科修士を取得。2011年つきやま歯科医院 専門医療センター センター長に就任。Perio Health Institute Japan (PHIJ) 理事。

After graduating from the Faculty of Dentistry at Kyushu University in 2001, Dr. Teppei Tsukiyama began his career. From 2006, he worked in the Periodontology and Implant Dentistry department at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He obtained certification from the American Academy of Periodontology as a Diplomate in Periodontology in 2009, and earned his Master's degree in Dentistry in 2010 from the United States. In 2011, he assumed the role of Center Director at Tsukiyama Dental Clinic's Specialty Medical Center. He also serves as the Director of the Perio Health Institute Japan.

Dr. Shogo Ando 安藤　壮吾　先生

安藤壮吾先生は2006年に朝日大学歯学部を卒業。2012年になみき通り歯科・矯正歯科を開業。予防歯科、ペリオ、インプラント、デジタルデンティストリー等幅広いカテゴリーをカバーされている。日本歯周病学会認定医、歯周病専門医、EAO認定、口腔インプラント学会（JSOI）認定医、Perio Health Institute Japan (PHIJ) 共同理事、Osseointegration Study Club of Japan (O.J.)理事、PrimeX 創設メンバー。

Dr. Syogo Ando graduated from Asahi University School of Dentistry in 2006. In 2012, he opened Namiki Dori Dental and Orthodontic Clinic. He covers a wide range of categories including preventive dentistry, periodontics, implants, and digital dentistry. He is a certified periodontist and periodontics specialist by the Japanese Society of Periodontology, and certified by the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO) and the Japanese Society of Oral Implantology（JSOI). He is the co-director of the Perio Health Institute Japan(PHIJ), a board member of the Osseointegration Study Club of Japan (O.J.）, and a founder of PrimeX.

Comprehensive orthodontic treatment that is predictable and feasible by SureSmile

抄録

矯正歯科治療の本質は顎顔面形態に調和した歯列の獲得にある。セファログラムは３次元の時代においても不正咬合の診断や治療目標を明確化することで治療計画に沿ったゴールに術者を導く事ができるツールとして矯正治療においては、CT画像と同様に現在も必須の診断とされているのはいうまでもない。 筆者の知る限り、SureSmileは、セファロと顎骨のCT DATA、口腔内スキャナによる模型STL DATAの全てを統合できる唯一のメジャーアライナーシステムである。本講演では、SureSmileだからできるインプラントと矯正の融合などを始めとする包括的矯正治療の可能性に関して紹介したい。

The essence of orthodontic treatment is to achieve a dentition that is in harmony with the maxillofacial morphology. Cephalometric is a tool that can guide the surgeon to the goal of the treatment plan by diagnosing malocclusion and clarifying treatment goals in the 3D era. SureSmile is the only major aligner system that can integrate Cephalo, CT data of the jawbone, and model STL data from an intraoral scanner. I would like to introduce the possibility of comprehensive orthodontic treatment, including the integration of implant and orthodontic treatment, which is possible with SureSmile.

Dr. Junichi Watahiki 綿引　淳一　先生

綿引淳一先生は、1999年に昭和大学歯学部を卒業し、同年に昭和大学歯科矯正科に入局。2004年に日本矯正歯科学会の認定医を取得し、昭和大学歯科矯正学大学院を修了し博士号を取得。2006年にはAQUA日本橋DENTAL CLINICを開設し、代表に就任。現在、日本口腔インプラント学会の専修医であり、昭和大学歯科矯正学教室の兼任講師も務めている。また、包括的矯正歯科研究会（IOS）の代表でもある。専門分野は包括的矯正歯科、歯周矯正（オルソ・ペリオ）治療、審美歯科、マイクロスコープ治療、インプラント治療および歯周治療。2022年のSJCD合同例会で優勝、2018年のSJCD東京Award受賞、第114回アメリカ矯正歯科学会でJoseph E. Johnson Clinical Awardを受賞している（2014年）。

Dr. Junichi Watahiki graduated from Showa University of Dentistry in 1999 and joined the Department of Orthodontics at Showa University the same year. In 2004, he became a certified orthodontist by the Japanese Orthodontic Society and completed his doctorate at Showa University's Graduate School of Orthodontics. In 2006, he established AQUA Nihonbashi Dental Clinic and became its director. Currently, he is a certified specialist with the Japanese Society of Oral Implantology and serves as an adjunct lecturer at Showa University's Department of Orthodontics. He is also the president of the Comprehensive Orthodontic Study Group (IOS). His areas of expertise include comprehensive orthodontics, ortho-perio treatment, microsurgery, implant treatment, and periodontal treatment. Dr. Watahiki has won several awards, including first place at the 2022 SJCD Joint Meeting, the SJCD Tokyo Award in 2018, and the Joseph E. Johnson Clinical Award at the 114th American Association of Orthodontists meeting in 2014.

SureSmile × CEREC: Comprehensive Treatment Approach Utilizing Digital Technology

抄録

アライナー矯正治療が身近な治療となっている近年、アライナー矯正の特性を理解し一般歯科医はフルマウス矯正やＭＴＭなど自分の力量にあった症例選択をしなくてはならない。今回SureSmileとCEREC treatment にて治療した症例を通じて一般歯科医の私がなぜSureSmileを選択したのか、その特徴と優位性についてお伝えしたいと思います。

As aligner orthodontic treatment has become more and more common in recent years, general dentists need to understand the characteristics of aligner orthodontics and select cases that match their ability, such as full mouth orthodontics and MTM. I would like to explain why I, as a general dentist, chose SureSmile and CEREC treatment and its features and advantages.

Dr. Yuji Kobayashi 小林　祐二　先生

小林先生は、2008年に愛知学院大学歯学部を卒業後、札幌医科大学歯科口腔外科にて臨床研修に従事。2014年に「Youすまいる歯科」を開業し、日本歯周病学会および日本臨床歯科CADCAM学会の会員として、常に最新の知識と技術を習得し、実践している。デジタル時代の診査・診断や口腔内スキャナーの活用法、そして、アライナー矯正治療とデジタル歯科治療に関する講演会を行い、多くの歯科医師に影響を与えている。

Dr. Kobayashi graduated from Aichi Gakuin University School of Dentistry in 2008 and then completed his clinical training in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Sapporo Medical University. In 2014, he opened "You Smile Dental Clinic." As a member of the Japanese Society of Periodontology and the Japanese Society of Clinical Dental CADCAM, he continuously acquires and applies the latest knowledge and techniques.　Drawing on his extensive experience and advanced expertise, Dr. Kobayashi lectures on aligner orthodontic treatment and digital dentistry, influencing many dental professionals.

Evolving Digital Workflows in Dentistry: Simple to Sophisticated

今回の講義では、デジタル技術が現代の歯科医療に与える変革的な影響について探る。この包括的なセッションでは、1 本の歯の処置から歯列全体の修復に至るまでのデジタル ワークフローの範囲をカバーする。参加者は、最先端のデジタルツールと技術が精度、効率、患者の転帰をどのように向上させるかを学ぶことができる。演者は、ケーススタディと実際の応用例を検討することにより、テクノロジーを歯科診療に統合することでどのようにプロセスを合理化し、精度を向上させ、インプラント歯科医療のあらゆる側面に最適なソリューションを提供できるかを実証する。

Dr. Mark Ludlow

ユタ大学教授

マーク・ラドロウ教授は、ユタ大学歯学部にてインプラント歯科、デジタル歯科、および可撤性補綴のセクションヘッドを務めている。コネチカット大学で歯科医師の研修を修了し、ノースカロライナ大学で補綴学の修士号を取得。臨床および教育に従事する補綴専門医として、ラドロウ博士は日常のインプラントおよび修復歯科診療におけるデジタル技術の開発と統合に情熱を注いでいる。

Professor at University of Utah

Dr. Mark Ludlow is the Section Head of Implant Dentistry, Digital Dentistry, and Removable Prosthodontics at the University of Utah School of Dentistry. He completed his DMD dental training at the University of Connectcut and received his MS in prosthodontics from the University of North Carolina. As a practicing and teaching prosthodonist, Dr. Ludlow's passion is in the development and integration of digital technology in the practice of everyday implant and restorative dentistry.

Keys to Success in Aligner Orthodontic Treatment: Case Selection and Treatment Planning Tailored to Aligner Characteristics

抄録

アライナー矯正治療法は、その登場から現在まで技術革新によりとどまることなく且つ急速に進歩している。その新しい知見や臨床手技をタイムリーに吸収し臨床応用することで、患者様に良質な矯正歯科医療を提供することが求められている。本矯正治療法においては、歯科矯正学の基礎知識が土台となることはもちろん、加えてアライナー矯正治療法の特性を加味した治療計画の立案や治療途中におけるモニタリングが必要となる。今回このアライナー矯正治療法の特性から考えうる非適応症例や治療途中で起こる問題点とその解決策に焦点を絞って解説する。本講演が先生方の臨床の一助となれば幸いである。

Aligner orthodontic treatment has seen continuous and rapid advancements due to technological innovations since its inception. It is essential to promptly integrate new knowledge and clinical techniques into practice to provide high-quality orthodontic care to patients. This treatment method requires not only a solid foundation in orthodontics but also the ability to develop treatment plans and monitor progress, taking into account the unique characteristics of aligner therapy. This lecture will focus on identifying contraindications and addressing potential issues that may arise during aligner treatment. I hope this presentation will be beneficial to your clinical practice.

Dr. Shinya Matsuoka 松岡　伸也　先生

松岡伸也先生は、日本で初めてインビザライン（元ファカルティ）を導入し、アライナー矯正治療を開始した第一人者。2005年にハーバード大学で学び、日本に導入。鶴見大学卒業後、東京医科歯科大学で矯正治療の基礎を学び、所沢にてまつおか矯正歯科クリニックを開業。ワイヤー矯正に十数年従事し、3,000を超えるアライナー症例を経験。日本矯正歯科学会認定医であり、松岡塾では多くの歯科医師にアライナー矯正の教育を行っている。

Dr. Shinya Matsuoka pioneered the introduction of the Invisalign system in Japan, studying its fundamentals at Harvard Dental School in 2005 before bringing it to Japan. A graduate of Tsurumi University, he furthered his orthodontic training at Tokyo Medical and Dental University. He later opened the Matsuoka Orthodontic Clinic in Tokorozawa, offering high-quality care.

With over a decade of experience in traditional wire braces, Dr. Matsuoka has handled over 3,000 cases using clear aligners. He also educates dental professionals and leads "Matsuoka Juku," teaching the essentials of aligner orthodontic treatment. He is a certified member of the Japanese Orthodontic Society.

荒井昌海先生は2003年エムズ歯科クリニックを開院。翌2004年、医療法人社団翔舞会 理事長に就任。現在では、関東一円に11医院を開業。国内外を問わず、最新の歯科知識の取得や講演活動など、多忙な毎日を送っている。講演活動、執筆等多数。スタディーグループMID-G最高顧問。PrimeX 主宰。

Dr. Masami Arai opened Ms Dental Clinic in 2003. In the following year 2004, he became the Chairman of the Shohukai Medical Corporation. Today, he has established 11 clinics throughout the Kanto region. He leads a busy life acquiring the latest dental knowledge and giving lectures both domestically and internationally. He is involved in numerous lectures and writing activities. He is the Chief Advisor of the study group MID-G and the Lead Founder of PrimeX.

Dr. Manabu Kanazawa 金澤　学　先生

金澤学教授は2002年に東京医科歯科大学 歯学部を卒業後、同大学 大学院医歯学総合研究科全部床義歯補綴学分野  博士課程を修了。現在は同大学　大学院医歯学総合研究科 医歯学専攻 老化制御学講座 高齢者歯科学分野 教授として活躍されている。デジタル全般に精通されているが、特にデジタルデンチャーにおける第一人者。PrimeX 創設メンバー。

Prof. Manabu Kanazawa graduated from Tokyo Medical and Dental University School of Dentistry in 2002 and completed his doctoral program in Complete Denture Prosthodontics at the Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences at the same university. Currently, he is a professor in the Department of Gerodontology, Division of Aging Control, Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences at Tokyo Medical and Dental University. While he is well-versed in all aspects of digital dentistry, he is particularly renowned as a leading expert in digital dentures. He is also a founder of PrimeX.

Dr. Tomohiro Takagak i高垣　智博　先生

高垣智博先生は2004年に東京医科歯科大学歯学部を卒業。2008年 に同大学 大学院医歯学総合研究科修了。2021年には朝日大学歯学部歯冠修復学 准教授に就任。接着や形成等歯冠修復に関するエキスパート。主要なほぼすべてのメーカーとコラボレーションされ、レクチャラー、アドバイザーとして活躍されている。PrimeX 創設メンバー。

Dr. Tomohiro Takagaki graduated from Tokyo Medical and Dental University School of Dentistory in 2004 and completed his graduate studies at the Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences at the same university in 2008. In 2021, he was appointed as an Associate Professor in the Department of Crown and Bridge Prosthodontics at Asahi University School of Dentistry. He is an expert in crown and bridge prosthodontics, particularly in adhesion and cavity preparation. Dr. Takagaki is involved with nearly all major manufacturers as a lecturer and advisor. He is also a founder of PrimeX.

Dr. Goro Hashimura 橋村　吾郎　先生

橋村吾郎先生は2001年にインプラント治療を開始。インプラント治療、審美治療、咬合治療に力を注ぐ。2009年にオーキッド歯科クリニックの開業に合わせオールオン４治療を開始。2013年からインプラント講師を務め、国内外で多数の公演を開催。同時に自身が主催を務めるスタディーグループで歯科医療向上に尽力している。PrimeX 創設メンバー。

Dr. Goro Hashimura began his career in implant dentistry in 2001, focusing on implants, aesthetic treatments, and occlusal therapy. In 2009, he initiated All-on-4 treatment coinciding with the establishment of Orchid Dental Clinic. Since 2013, he has been teaching implant dentistry and has conducted numerous presentations both domestically and internationally. Concurrently, he dedicates himself to advancing dental care through a study group that he founded. Dr. Hashimura is also a founder of PrimeX.

Dr. Katsuichiro Maruo 丸尾　勝一郎　先生

丸尾勝一郎先生は東京医科歯科大学歯学部卒業後、スカラーシッププログラムにてハーバード大学歯学部インプラント科に留学。現在は医療法人プライムエレメントの理事長として三軒茶屋マルオ歯科・恵比寿マルオ歯科にて診療を行うかたわら、代表取締役として歯科専用動画サイトDENTAL WIDGETの運営に携わる。ITI Fellow、PrimeX 創設メンバー。

After graduating from the Faculty of Dentistry at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Dr. Katsuichiro Maruo pursued a scholarship program to study Implantology at Harvard University's School of Dental Medicine. Presently, he serves as Chairman of the Prime Element Medical Corporation, overseeing clinical practice at Sangenjaya Maruo Dental Clinic and Ebisu Maruo Dental Clinic. Additionally, he plays a key role as CEO in managing DENTAL WIDGET, a specialized dental video platform. Dr. Maruo is recognized as an ITI Fellow and is also a founding member of PrimeX.
