Course Description:

Peri-implantitis is a major challenge for dental professionals. In this eLearning course, we will discuss the current understanding on etiology, prevalence, and risk factors. We will also evaluate data from recent studies demonstrating the efficacy of therapeutic approaches for the management of peri-implantitis. Treatment strategies will be illustrated by clinical cases.

• Recognize different disease entities related to implants

• Evaluate risk factors for peri-implantitis

• Identify and discuss treatment options for peri-implantitis
