The Astra Tech Implant System has undergone a continuous evolution since its inception in 1985, with a strong philosophy in biomechanics and biology. This lecture will present the next step of the evolution – The Astra Tech Implant System EV. Based on a “crown down approach” this system delivers a clinically relevant and robust 21st century implant based on a classic and well documented design.

This presentation will also focus on the importance of implant design, including cases highlighting short, narrow and sloped implants. Short, narrow and sloped implant solutions offer important pragmatic advantages to support their use in different applications. A diverse population requires more than a single treatment plan and this lecture will discuss how the Astra Tech Implant System EV can deliver outstanding clinical results in different situations.

This course is intended for dental professionals or students with a basic understanding of dental terminology, practice, and proficiency.
