In this session Dr. Tyler Rathburn discusses the fundamentals of orthodontic biomechanics as a way to improve case selection and treatment outcomes. From class, to cant, to crowding and spacing, attendees will learn practical solutions for identifying good clear aligner candidates, exploring the basics of orthodontic treatment considerations, and identifying clinical applications for common clinical scenarios.

Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, learners should be able to:

Understand the biomechanics of tooth movements and orthodontic classifications
Recognize achievable orthodontic corrections in common clinical scenarios\
Identify good candidates for simple clear aligner treatment
Improve treatment efficacy by understanding orthodontic movement and classification as part of initial selection and diagnosis criteria

This course is intended for dental professionals or students with a basic understanding of dental terminology, practice, and proficiency.
